Monday 12/4 Increases: Copper, Welded Steel Pipe, and Metal Conduit

As previously announced, price increases for both Domestic and Globally Sourced Welded Steel Pipe will be going into effect on Monday, 12/4. We will hold prices at current levels through the close of business today, 12/1. Find out more about these increases and upcoming copper tube and metal conduit increases below.

DOMESTIC WELDED STEEL PIPE

Due to increased input costs, domestic steel pipe mills have announced another immediate price increase of approximately 5-10% on CW, Grade B, and Sprinkler pipe. In addition, mills have advised that lead times are now extended by 4-10 weeks, depending on the item. A new list price sheet dated 12/4 will be available for download on our website then.

GLOBALLY SOURCED WELDED STEEL PIPE

Due to the rising costs of offshore Hot Roll Coil, we will be implementing a minimum price increase of $100/ton (higher on Galvanized products) on globally sourced welded steel pipe products. This increase is likely the first of multiple price increases in this product category that will take effect over the next few months into the first quarter of 2024. METAL CONDUIT

Metal conduit manufacturers have announced a price increase going into effect immediately. We will hold current pricing levels through the close of business today and move to these new levels first thing Monday morning. Call your sales rep to place orders now.
