Sewer and Drain Pipe vs. SDR Pipe

PVC sewer and drain (S&D) is a thinner-wall product made to ASTM D2729 for light-duty, non-pressure drainage. SDR 35 and SDR 26 are made to ASTM D3034 with heavier walls for sewer mains, laterals and deeper burial. For municipal or site sewer work, see our SDR sewer pipe.

Solid vs. Perforated Drainage

Solid wall carries water away from a structure, such as downspout runoff and storm lines. Perforated lets water enter the line along its length, making it the choice for foundation and footing drains, French drains and septic leach fields. Both PVC and HDPE triple wall are available in solid and perforated.
